Police, paramedics and ambulance crews were called to a house on Short Street in Belper on Thursday evening, after reports of a man acting agressively were reported to the police. The man in question was allegedley Gary Beardsley (confirmation of name and correct spelling needed). A local man, who didn't wish to be named, described Gary as a boxer and a very nice man, who had been hit too many times around the head and had probably flipped. He claimed that Gary had flipped once before in Thailand five or six years ago.
In this image, a bag of golf clubs and other items can be seen strewn across the road. The items have been thrown from an upstairs window.
