An undiscovered passion for photography has helped a Ripley man battle depression. When Ian Jenkins suffered a work-related accident resulting in back surgery, work soon dried up and Ian was in so much agony that going back in to education proved difficult. But thanks to a series of digital photography workshops, Ian soon found a new hobby and will be opening his first exhibition this Wednesday at The Croft centre on Slack Lane in Ripley. Ian says that his new skill has helped him battle depression he has struggled with since his accident.
