Shane Lightfoot dangles delicately over the edge of Crich War Memorial as he polishes the metal sword which decorates the tower. Shane, who works for A-Spire Maintenance Ltd, is part of a team who have been contracted to redo the tower's pointing between the stonework. The difference between the old pointing and the new is clearly visible here.
