A retired GP has been left stunned at the efficiency of a surgical procedure to remove two thirds of his liver. Dr Peter Adler, from Church Lane in Morley, was told he needed immediate treatment after contracting liver cancer. Thanks to the operation, Dr Adler is up and about once again and able to walk his dog and help out in the garden on a regular basis.
