London Road Community Hospital played host to Falls Awareness Day on Thursday, handing out free information and hosting a range of activities. Amongst the activities were tai chi sessions, lead by Tim Burch, pictured. Tim works for Fresh Start - a project aimed at helping people to stop smoking - based at the Coleman Health Centre on Coleman Street. Mr Burch said: "Tai chi is a stress-free form of exercise that helps improve balance." The event took place at the Specialist Assessment and Rehabilitation Centre.
