A woman from Belper is preparing to run the Race 4 Life on 17th July, after her husband was recently given the all clear after being diagnosed with cancer. Anna Waite, aged 31, from Lowlands Road, was 12 weeks pregnant with husband Stephen Waite's second child when he was diagnosed at the age of 29. But now, the cancer is in remission and the pair have a new addition to the family in the form of nine-month-old Ollie Waite.
